Have you ever wondered what goes into a tiny house moving day? From prepping to travel to set-up in a new parking spot, you might be surprised at the number of steps involved. Most importantly, we share how to do it safely. Watch this video for the nitty-gritty!

Whether you move your tiny house regularly or once a year, there are certain steps you always need to take before hitting the road, and when settling into a parking spot. The same applies to both DIY towing and hiring a professional mover.

One big important to-do: grease the wheel barrings!

This is needed every 6-months or approximately 15,000 miles. If not properly maintained, your trailer wheels could cease up and even catch fire.

Over the past 4.5 years, Christian and I moved our tiny home over a hundred times, which is unusual for most THOW dwellers. Basically, we can do it in our sleep. But we try not to get complacent to avoid any safety issues or messiness during parking setup, out of respect for our hosts.

Have you ever moved your tiny house on wheels to a new parking spot?
