Based in Ventura, California, Ryan O’Donnell is a fascinating sustainable, off-grid tiny house builder. He uses solar and a backup biodiesel generator to power the entire tiny house construction process.
This all part of his Green Initiative:
“Our philosophy starts with an attempt at full-circle sustainability in building. By using ethically sourced materials and supporting solar energy, we minimize our carbon footprint.”
While Ryan is an incredibly talented artisan, he’s down-to-earth, like his business name Humble Handcraft. See firsthand his passion for his work in the below video, as well as two of his artistic, handcrafted tiny houses. They’re infused with a stunning mix of salvaged materials, reclaimed wood, and artisan-made fixtures.
