After the devasting Camp Fire of 2018, Alyssa Nolan started the grassroots project, Tiny Homes for Camp Fire Survivors. Since then, her volunteers have built and donated over 15 houses. As of spring 2020, Alyssa expanded the group’s mission by establishing the Tiny Pine Foundation nonprofit.
“Tiny Pine Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that strives to be the change we want to see in our community and the world…Along with providing housing, we are give back to our local communities and inspire kindness through love in action!”
The Tiny Pine Foundation is currently helping those affecting by fires in California and Oregon, one on one, through extensive outreach efforts. Please consider donating to help further their essential work.
Here’s what the Tiny Pine Foundation is doing now to help fire survivors:
- For evacuated families, they’re providing hotel rooms and donating gift cards for gas, food, groceries.
- For families that lost their home, they’re donating diapers, clothes, playpens, new socks, blankets, etc., as well as providing other resources and case management.
