Introducing the brand-new Anker SOLIX C1000 portable power station. It’s an impressive 15% smaller than the industry average of similar capacity models. A short time ago, Anker released the significantly smaller capacity, Anker 535, with 512 Wh and 500 W. The Solix C1000 is only slightly larger in size but has more than triple the power capacity with 1056 Wh and 1800 W output.

This reflects how the technology has rapidly progressed in the power station market. Anker pushed the envelope with the SOLIX C1000 in a few other critical areas, like recharging. By maxing out the 600-watt solar input, it can recharge in just 1.8 hours. That is an astounding 40% faster than other power stations with the same capacity.

Additionally, it’s pretty competitive for AC wall charging. The Anker SOLIX C1000 portable power station can recharge from 0-100% in just 58 minutes. That’s 27.5% faster than similar-capacity power stations. To achieve this speed, the user must turn on the UltraFast charge mode in the app. It connects to the SOLIX C100 via Bluetooth or WiFi. There, you can remotely control it, adjust settings, and, importantly, monitor usage.

Beyond, the SOLIX C1000 portable power station has a whopping 2400 W surge wattage with its SurgePad technology. Simply put, surge watts or starting watts applies to appliances with motors. During startup, they experience a burst of energy during startup and various intervals. So they have an extra power draw for a few seconds and settle into the lower, more constant running wattage.

Combined with its 1056 Wh capacity and 1800 W output, it can power up to 99% of appliances. Beginning in December, you’ll be able to double the power capacity of the Anker SOLIX C1000 with an expansion battery. This will expand the watt-hours from 1056 to 2112. As a result, it will double the running time of anything plugged into the portable power station.

That incredible capability will cost several hundred dollars on top of the $1000 price tag for the Anker SOLIX C1000 portable power station. The list price is comparable to similar models. Unlike many competitors, though, it comes with a 5-year warranty. That’s half its lifespan.

Thanks to the EV-grade LiFePO4 batteries, the SOLIX C1000 has a 10-year lifespan. Offering a competitive 3000 charge cycles at full battery health. A lifecycle means one full charge and discharge 3000 times. Anker claims the Solix C1000 will last 5x longer than others. Its ultra-durable industrial-grade components and smart temperature control system are crucial factors. Beyond that, the durability also comes from its unibody drop-proof design.

The Anker Solix C1000 is a well-rounded, robust, portable power station that could work well for many applications, like camping and van life. But as you research which model to buy in this saturated market, pay close attention to the nitty-gritty specs to understand how they stack up against each other. Further, it’s crucial to have an understanding of your individual electrical needs. Check out this handy calculator to help you figure out how to find the right capacity power station.
